BlakYaks secures third position in the new ‘UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™’ list!

We are proud to announce that BlakYaks has been included in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development™ list, compiled by Great Place To Work® (GPTW®), ranking third place among 100 companies in the ‘Small’ category.

New for this year, the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development 2024 List recognises companies making employee development a key part of company culture. These workplaces offer employees the chance to better themselves, to learn new skills, and to progress within the organisation.

They understand that development is not one-size-fits-all, and they actively support every single employee to undertake their own tailored journey of growth. Because of this, their people are fuelled by a sense of purpose, feel valued by their employer, and give their best to the organisation.

Dirk Anderson, CEO of BlakYaks said: "Being named in the UK's Best Workplaces for Development List is a huge accolade that we treasure. We are a company that's hugely invested in the development of our team members and our business. I know that I speak for the whole management team when I say that this achievement in particular fills us with pride, and I want to thank our entire team for their ongoing support in creating a development culture that we should all be proud of."

Recognised for our commitment to employee growth

Making it onto this list proves that BlakYaks is dedicated to development, innovation, and helping employees grow and thrive.

Over the past three years, we have introduced numerous new

initiatives to solidify our commitment to employee development, including the ‘BlakYaks Academy’, our own dedicated technical training academy that is equipping our newer team members with advanced cloud native skills (covering technologies such as Azure, DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work® UK, said: “Each year, we recognise organisations whose thriving workplace cultures are enabling both their people and their business to flourish. Opportunities for learning and development are a crucial element of this success, which is why we’re so thrilled to be recognising this year, for the very first time, the UK’s Best Workplaces for Development. Congratulations to BlakYaks for being part of our 2024 UK’s Best Workplaces for Development List."
